The same should be done for the color that has been placed underneath your eyes. Apply a dab of metallic highlighter to the inside corner of your eye as well as right on the brow bone. Fill the remaining area with some shimmery gold eyeshadow.

Blend the two shades using a fluffy brush. In fact, your natural eye color permits your different tones of brown, golden, bronze, navy blue and charcoal. There are many different variations of smokey eyes that make this style perfect for a wide variety of occasions beyond the classic fancy night out.

Unlike green or blue eyes, there isn't a complementary color for brown eyes per se. Because this color actually consists of a combination of blue, yellow and red, there are not many restrictions when it comes to makeup ideas for brown eyes. Start with priming your eyes and applying a nude eyeshadow all over your eyelid.

Curl your eyelashes and apply two coats of mascara to lift up your eye instantly. Apply black eyeshadow along the crease of your eye and upper lashline. Wear this dark sixties-style eye makeup, and you're bound to make a grand entrance. Different shades of gray and moss look extremely well on you, as well as metallic hues that bring out the spark in your eyes.

The first thing that you need to do is put a light brown color on your eyelids. Whenever you need to apply more of your dark shadow, start at this point and work inwards or upwards. Next comes the crease of the eyes. End it in a tapered line slightly before the edge of your eyeshadow (where the darkest part meets your un-shadowed skin).

Using the same eyeshadow, define your lower lashline. With a black kohl pencil, define your lower waterline and lashline, tracing a wing with the pencil. For a smudgy look, draw a thick line across the top of your lash line, and then use your fingertip or a small eyeshadow brush to smudge and blur the line. Apply your favorite dark shade to the inner rim of your eyes, followed by the outside upper lash lines too.

With an angled brush, blend out the product on your lower lashline till it looks soft and blended. Using a plum shade such as MAC Eye Shadow Sketch , add in some drama and definition to your peepers. This style keeps the eyeshadow at a light nude shade until it introduces a darker shade right at the outer corner. Using a thin brush, trace a wing from your upper lashline that connects to the crease line (it looks like a leaf), as seen in the image. These usually come in a nude base color and help to prepare the eyes and set the skin for the darker colors to come.
